Marston and Langinger About Us

The Brand

Born from a desire for the best protective coating for the world’s best conservatories, Marston and Langinger Paint was created.

Marston and Langinger founder Peter Marston went in search of the best possible coating for his fantastic bespoke conservatories.  He searched globally for a product that would give the highest technical properties and finish. Also a colour palette that would allow him to meet his customer’s specific needs in terms of design and durability.

His searches lead him to Scandinavia and it was here that he found the perfect product to provide the finishing touch to his beautiful structures. The Scandinavians have lived in timber structures for hundreds of years and are experts in protecting and preserving these structures. Initially the paint was to be used as part of the manufacturing process and to apply finishing touches at the end of the installation process. The demand for paint grew as customers and professionals alike used the paint to maintain these wonderful structures. So much so, home owners would request the paint for external windows and doors at their properties.

With demand and profile growing Interior products were added to compliment the ever growing range of colours. The same uncompromising attention was given to interior finishes for framework and walls: Marston and Langinger Interior Eggshell and Chalky interior matt.

  • Exterior eggshell for wood and masonry outdoors.
  • Interior eggshell for walls and woodwork interiors – including furniture.
  • Chalky Interior matt is an ultra-flat designer finish for walls that can wipe clean.

The three Marston and Langinger paint types all possess five very important characteristics:

  • Powerful Chroma – strong pigments for a beguiling depth of colour.
  • Ease of application – a perfect finish, even for the less gifted painter!
  • Maintainability – readily cleanable or retouchable.
  • Durable – incredibly long lasting.
  • Environmentally friendly – carries the Nordic Swan Mark.

Available in 84 colours, and three sizes of tin, 1L, 2.5L, 5L.

Archived colours and special edition colours are also available.

All Marston and Langinger paints can be used on many other objects and surfaces provided the surface is suitably primed and sealed (metal, plastics and stone).

Fenwick and Tilbrook Ltd are very proud to have been chosen to manufacture this unique brand of paint.

PLEASE NOTE: Colours shown throughout the site are a digital approximation and should not be relied upon for accurate colour-matching. Marston and Langinger recommend that a sample pot is used wherever absolute colour accuracy is critical.
