2% Sheen Flat Matt Finish

Marston and Langinger Chalky Interior Matt emulsion is recommended for plaster walls, and ceilings, but can also be applied to woodwork, metalwork and masonry.

Bare metal should be treated with a suitable primer before applying Marston and Langinger Paint. Bare or loose masonry should be treated and sealed with a suitable crylic primer before applying Marston and Langinger Paint.

APPLICATION NOTES:

New plaster and porous surfaces:

  1. The surface must be clean and dry
  2. Apply one coat of Interior Matt thinned with water (1 part water 9 parts paint)*
  3. Apply two coats of Interior Matt

Previously painted surfaces:

  1. Thoroughly wash down and remove all flaking and defective coating
  2. Make good any cracks and defects
  3. Thoroughly rub down to create a matt surface
  4. The surface must be clean and dry
  5. For any exposed-to -bare areas apply one coat of Interior Matt thinned with water (1 part water 9 parts paint)*
  6. Apply two coats of Interior Matt
  7. Bright or light colours may require additional coats

DRYING TIMES

Touch dry in around 30 minutes

Interval between coats c.1 hour

Based on 23c ambient temperature, 50% relative humidity, 50 micron dry film thickness (DFT)

Temperature, humidity and thickness of coat will affect drying times

Marston and Langinger Paints are self priming, however if a heavily repaired substrate has a variation of porosity and colours priming is recommended as a first coat to create an even base colour. Prime new, bare and porous surfaces using one coat of Marston and Langinger, paint thinned with water (1 part water 9 parts paint).

10% Sheen – Matt Finish
